The picture you see in front of you is none other than a mysterious enigma sent to us through the subtle agency of God's inscrutable majesty.

For perhaps the first time in the history of photography the tenuous thread of metaphysical doubt that binds together both the existential despair of everyday living and the glorified ecstasy of dissolution in death has been clearly represented in photographic form. The mysteries of this photograph to the trained eye are many.

You will note the odd lack of heavy artillery. Perhaps it is because of this that the grass is laughing and the sky is screaming in terror or delight.

It appears that the sun in this scene is near it's nadir, and yet there is not an ambulance to be seen.

The panda in this picture seems to be invisible.

Most strange is the fact that the telephone pole appears to be standing perfectly still, despite the obvious threat of impending disaster. And what are we to make of the copulating bicycles buried beneath the earth?

Perhaps we were never meant to behold such profound mysteries. It may be for the better to forget what we have seen. For me it is too late, this image will continue to haunt me for the rest of my days and nights.
